Welcoming Visitors at the Airport!

The Airport's Name

At my previous post, one of the most modern airports in the country is the Davao International Airport… It is one of the airports in the country that welcomes foreign airline arrivals. Mainly, the foreign airline that lands on its vast airport runway is the Silk Air that flies directly to Singapore. πŸ™‚ Yet, I do hope that more international flights will flock in this very peaceful and secured city in the Southern Philippines. πŸ™‚

At this airport compound, there is a beautiful sculpture made by a Davao-blood artist, Kublai Milan. Here it is…

Sculpture at the Airport

This sculpture is a durian fruit where several Mindanaoan natives are the flesh of this fruit. Purely an artistic expression that displays Davao City and the island it belongs – Mindanao. So, when you are going to visit this beautiful and future city, don’t forget to have a picture with this sculpture. πŸ™‚ It is just located straight the name of the airport at a bit higher ground. πŸ™‚

The Davao International Airport.

Now, here’s the view of the Davao International Airport. A small international airport yet a very good airport that welcomes guests warmly.
