The 1st Davao Bloggers Walk – A SUCCESS! (Part 2)

PART 2

Then, we went to San Pedro Street infront Rizal Park. There were a lot of street foods that you can choose from to meet the needs of your hungry tummy. 🙂 I, for one, was hungry and the rest of the Davao bloggers were hungry too. There were so many stalls to choose from, and let’s point them one by one. 🙂

Cheese Cake Vendor

The Cheese Cake vendor… Looking at the food, it’s like a pan cake. It looks very ordinary. However, my curiosity made me standby and watch how he prepared the food – howcome it’s name is CHEESE CAKE?

The making of Cheese Cake...

Indeed, it’s like a pancake. However, the preparation for this cheese cake is something unique (well, I don’t know where it originally originated, but I believe it’s unique… :p). If you look at the photo above this, it was folded. Inside the fold was grated cheese that melts inside the fold as the pan and the cake was hot. Try this one! It’s a pancake of different variety. Yummy!

Kwek-kwek (the oranged egg)

The world’s famous kwek-kwek. :p Kwek-kwek was the cream of the crop! Perfectly oranged! Hard boiled eggs dipped to a mixture and fried that creates the orange covering of the egg. 🙂 Yummy!

Sliced Green Mango Vendor

Are you looking something sour? Never miss this vendor. Then, don’t forget the bagoong… Yummy!

The legume vendor

If you want your hands and mouth busy, buy from this vendor. Steamed peanuts! Order while it’s hot… Your hands and mouth would definitely becomes busy. Open and catch the nuts. 🙂

The siomai vendor

Hence, siomai is not always ordered in a Chinese Restau. 🙂 Have some of it at San Pedro Street… 🙂

The undying squid balls

One of the first ever street food I’ve tasted in my whole life – squid balls. 🙂 This is aside from the usual banana cue and camote cue. 🙂

Sliced fruit vendor

There’s a variety of sliced fruits to choose from. The vendor had the papaya, guava, singkamas, green and ripe mango. 🙂

There’s a lot of street food available at San Pedro Street of Davao City. As a resident, domestic and international tourist of this city, never ever miss the chance of tasting the street foods. Enjoy the yummy treats!

Then, after refilling the hungry tummies. The Davao Bloggers walk towards a free exhibit at Rizal Street in commemorating Rizal’s 150th birthday. 🙂 (PART 3)
