4 Barangays in Davao City – Under State of Calamity

30 06 2011

It was a very sad story in the city of Davao where 4 barangays were submerged in water after a 2-hour non-stop hard rain. The said barangays were Matina Pangi, Matina Aplaya, Bangkal and Talomo. The said barangays were now under state of calamity.

The Matina River overflowed because it could not contain the water flowing through it anymore. Then, it was like the typhoon Ondoy story in Metro Manila. Many houses were washed out by the flood. Many residents were now homeless. Many died and missing as well.

If you are interested to help, may this blog be a bridge for this matter. I don’t know how to put a donation button at the right side of this blog where you can channel your financial assistance that will be used to purchase food items for the victims. Perhaps, try to contact me at +639162957437 or your nearest sagip kapamilya/kapuso foundation centers for your donations. This help may be very short term, but your help will be cherished.

Let’s offer some prayer for the victims that may they find comfort and security from their situation. Thanks…
