One of the Five Bat Caves at Monfort Bat Cave Conservatory

It is estimated to have 1.8 million bats inside the cave. Before the darkness comes, all these bats fly! Wow! Isn’t it exciting? You will experience these bats cover the whole place as they fly from the cave. It’s a very beautiful work of nature.

It’s morning when we go there yet the bats are still flying around while others are sleeping.

In the conservatory, there are 5 holes where you can see the bats. You can see the bats from those wholes. Just an advise, visiting the Monfort caves, you have to bring a hand towel to cover your nose aside from a handkerchief. It is because the place is very aromatic, it might stress your nose. πŸ™‚
