Happy Year of the Snake, Davao City!

10 02 2013

This day marks the first day of the year of the snake on the lunar calendar. Many of our dear Filipino-Chinese friends are celebrating this yuletide. Here in Davao City, how could this be possible with the ban of firecrackers? Well, well, well, though using firecrackers is a tradition to remove evil spirits, other means to have it is doing the dragon dance with bashing drum beats. That is what is happening now in one of the huge malls here in the city.
